We are getting Married!!!
After 7 years together, 2 amazing kids, much country hopping and travelling we have decided to finally tie the knot and we can't think of a better way to commemorate this big day than to bring all of our nearest and dearest together to celebrate the journey so far and to toast to all the adventures that are yet to come.

There isn't an obvious place to get married when you’re from different continents and your families and friends are spread across the world, so we went for somewhere that’s always been special to us. BRAZIL! We consider it our second home and we can't wait to share this little slice of tropical paradise with our international friends and family and making this a party to remember. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this website inspires your sense of excitement and adventure and that many, many, many of you decide to join us and make this your big trip for 2025.

Join us at the Pousada a Capela, a beautiful Boutique Hotel by the beach, 45 mins north of Salvador, Bahia.
As a guest to our wedding, you will automatically be assigned a room at the Pousada for the Wedding Weekend.

Join us at the beautiful Pousada a Capela in Arembepe. Check in from 2pm onwards with casual welcome drinks from 5pm to catch up, make new friends and enjoy the sunset by the beach​

The Wedding

Join us for our wedding ceremony
and reception
The wedding ceremony will be held by the beautiful little chapel, which is part of the Pousada, followed by the reception in the gardens with stunning views of the beach.

Relax & Pool Day

Post-Party Pool Recovery Day
End the weekend with a relaxing day by the pool at the Pousada or by the private beach in front of the hotel with a chance to connect, relax and hydrate. Check-Out by 6pm​

Getting There
By Car
Drive 45 - 60 mins from Salvador
By Flight
We recommend you fly into Salvador (SSA) Airport. ​ The Pousada a Capela is about 30 mins drive from the airport.
​
From Europe there are direct flight via Paris, Madrid or Lisbon - while we recommend the TAP Portugal route via Lisbon (transit times are usually tight and Lisbon airport is easier to navigate than Madrid), the Air France (Paris connection) is new and prices are currently very attractive, so this could be a great budget friendly option, too! We just haven't tested this one ourselves yet.
If you prefer to fly directly into Brazil, fly to Sao Paulo or Rio where there are multiple connections a day to Salvador as well. ​Please be aware that stopovers in these cities require you to collect your luggage, change terminals (international to domestic), re-checking your luggage and going through security again, which really only makes sense if you intend to leave the airport and stay a little.
